A key objective was to improve usability and navigation while presenting a large volume of content in a clear and engaging manner. The platform also needed to support enquiries, event promotion and accommodation information whilst maintaining the high standards expected of a prestigious members' organisation.

My Contribution

My role focused on translating business and user requirements into effective front-end solutions while ensuring consistency, usability and accessibility throughout the site.

Main contributions included:

Technical Environment

The website was delivered using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Knockout and Underscore, supported by AJAX-driven interactions and the Orchard CMS platform. LESS and Bootstrap were used to create maintainable responsive layouts and consistent user interface components across the site.

Project Outcome

The completed website provided the RAF Club with a modern digital platform that reflected the quality and prestige of the organisation while improving access to information, accommodation services and member-related content. Through effective UX design and front-end implementation, the project delivered an enhanced online experience for both members and visitors.
